Tax exemptions AY 2023/2024

Total exemptions from the all-inclusive tuition fee and surcharges (from 5th September 2023 to 2nd October 2023)

This paragraph includes:

  • Total exemption for students with a certified disability of 66% or more
  • Exemption for parents unable to work (Law 118/71 e subsequent amendments and additions)
  • Exemption for student athlete

How it works

Requests for exemption must be submitted from 5th September 2023 to 2nd October 2023, through our TICKETING/HELPDESK service (helpdesk.poliba.it), choosing “Esoneri tasse”.

Each single exemption requires some formal characteristics.

It is necessary to attach the necessary documentation.

Total exemption for students with a certified disability of 66% or more

These students have not to pay the all-inclusive tuition fee and the Regional tuition fee.

They must pay Virtual stamp - € 16. The virtual stamp will be available in the reserved area of each student once the conditions for the exemption has been verified.

In order to require the exemption it’s necessary to use our TICKETING/HELPDESK service (helpdesk.poliba.it), choosing “Esoneri tasse”, observing the following requirements:

OBJECT OF THE TICKET: “Richiesta esonero studente con disabilità certificata pari o superiore al 66%”

TEXT OF THE TICKET: percentage of disability; date of the assessment report of the disability.

Mandatory annexes:

  • the assessment report of the disability according to lex 104/1992 (if obtained)
  • ASL/INPS documentation that certified the disability (with the indication of percentage of disability; date of the assessment report of the disability)

Student athlete.

Definition: Students who took part, in 2023, in International Championships such as Olympics, World and European Championships (Absolute or Category) and/or National Championships (Absolute or Category) in winter or summer Olympic or Paralympic disciplines, or in the disciplines recognized by the C.O.N.I., or the selected athletes for the national team (absolute or category) of the same disciplines.

There will not be considered National championships organized by different institutions than the Federations.

Only current students or Students out of the course for a maximum number of times equal to the regular duration of the same degree course can access to this benefit (e.g. 3rd year beyond the regular duration of the Degree Programme for students enrolled in Bachelor Degree Programmes (3-year course); 2nd year beyond the regular duration of the Degree Programme for students enrolled in Second Cycle Master Degree/ Specialist Degrees Programmes (2-year Master Degree Courses), 5th year beyond the regular duration of the Degree Programme for students enrolled in Single Cycle Master Degree/ Specialist Degrees Programme (5-year course)).

These student athletes have not to pay the all-inclusive tuition fee and surcharges.

They have to pay only the enrolment fee (136,00 €). It contains: Regional tuition fee – 120,00 € and Virtual stamp – 16,00 €.

In order to apply for the exemption you must be enrolled (therefore you must pay the enrolment fee € 136) and it’s necessary to use our TICKETING/HELPDESK service (helpdesk.poliba.it), choosing “Esoneri tasse”, observing the following requirements:

OBJECT OF THE TICKET: “Richiesta esonero studente atleta”

TEXT OF THE TICKET: the specific sport practiced; description of the of high-level sport.

Mandatory annexes:

  • For team sports, a certification of the sports federation proving a minimum presence of 2/3 of the competitions for the year immediately preceding the year of enrolment; for individual sports, a certification of the sports federation proving the effective participation in the national championships for the year immediately preceding the year of enrolment.
  • a certification of the sports club proving the hours dedicated per week and per year for the sport training.

Exemption for parents unable to work (Law 118/71 e subsequent amendments and additions)

The exemption regards students:

  • with one or both parents for whom has been declared the disability and also the incapacity to work in the percentage of 2/3 (Law 118/1971)
  • belonging to distressed economic condition families: Value of ISEE less than € 25.000, it is considered verified the distressed economic condition of the student's family.

These students have not to pay the all-inclusive tuition fee and surcharges.

They must pay Virtual stamp - € 16. The virtual stamp will be available in the reserved area of each student once the conditions for the exemption has been verified.

In order to require the exemption it’s necessary to use our TICKETING/HELPDESK service (helpdesk.poliba.it), choosing “Esoneri tasse”, observing the following requirements:

OBJECT OF THE TICKET: “Richiesta esonero L.118/71”

TEXT OF THE TICKET: Name and surname of parent unable to work, date of declaration of inability

Mandatory annexes:

  • ISEE certificate issued by INPS
  • ASL/INPS documentation that certified the disability (with the indication of percentage of disability; date of the assessment report of the disability)
  • Self-declaration of your family status, indicating for each family member the family relationship

You can find the amounts of the exemptions and the conditions to obtain it consulting the Fees Regulation 2023/24.

The request must also be submitted by students who have applied for it in previous academic years.

Partial exemptions (from 3rd October 2023 to 31st October 2023)

This paragraph includes:

  1. Students with a certified disability between 55% and 66%;
  2. Students with parents and siblings with a certified disability of 66% or more
  3. Student orphanes who lost a parent with a value of the I.S.E.E. certificate less than € 30.000

How it works

Requests for exemption must be submitted from 3rd October 2023 to 31st October 2023, through our TICKETING/HELPDESK service (helpdesk.poliba.it), choosing “Esoneri tasse”.

You can find the amounts of the exemptions and the conditions to obtain it consulting the Fees Regulation 2023/24.

The request must also be submitted by students who have applied for it in previous academic years.

To apply for a partial exemption it will be necessary to be enrolled at the a.a. 2023/24.

Students with a certified disability between 55% and 66%

These students can obtain a 50% reduction of the all-inclusive tuition fee. They will pay the enrolment fee (136,00 €). It contains: Regional tuition fee – 120,00 € and Virtual stamp – 16,00 €.

In order to apply for the exemption you must be enrolled (therefore you must pay the enrolment fee € 136) and it’s necessary to use our TICKETING/HELPDESK service (helpdesk.poliba.it), choosing “Esoneri tasse”, observing the following requirements:

OBJECT OF THE TICKET: “Richiesta esonero studente con disabilità certificata tra il 55% e il 66%”

TEXT OF THE TICKET: percentage of disability; date of the assessment report of the disability

Mandatory annexes:

  • the assessment report of the disability according to lex 104/1992 (if obtained)
  • ASL/INPS documentation that certified the disability (with the indication of percentage of disability; date of the assessment report of disability)

Students with parents and siblings with a certified disability of 66% or more

OBJECT OF THE TICKET: “Richiesta esonero parziale FAM_DIS”

TEXT OF THE TICKET: Name and surname of the family member with a disability (with the indication of percentage of disability); indication of the date of declaration of disability;

Mandatory annexes:

  • ASL/INPS documentation that certified the disability (with the indication of percentage of disability; date of the assessment report of disability)
  • Self-declaration of your family status, indicating for each member the family relationship

Student orphanes who lost a parent with a value of the I.S.E.E. certificate less than € 30.000

These students can obtain a reduction of the all-inclusive tuition fee, plus any surcharges. They will pay the enrolment fee (136,00 €). It contains: Regional tuition fee – 120,00 € and Virtual stamp – 16,00 €.

TEXT OF THE TICKET: Name and surname of the departed, with date of death and place of residence

Mandatory annexes:

  • Self-declaration of the death of the parent.
